In any business climate, leadership must possess clear objectives and goals to be successful. The Pacific Claim Executives Associations (PCEA) promote flexible business models to accommodate and adjust to the ever-changing claim process climate in a timely and meaningful manner. Our meetings are designed to deliver valuable education and networking opportunities for all lines of insurance.
We specially tailor these events for those who are:
-
Claim executives from mutual and stock insurance companies.
-
Self-insured employers who manage and oversee their own claim operations.
-
Third-party claim administrators.
-
Claim reinsurers representing geographic regions of the United States.
Our Mission
In 1953 Pacific Claim Executives Association (PCEA) was created to provide a medium through which matters of general interest to its members could be presented and discussed. This group of insurance professionals promotes learning social interaction, goodwill, and the common good of the Property & Casualty insurance industry. It is comprised of Claim executives from mutual and stock insurance companies, self-insured employers who manage or oversee their own claim operations, third-party claim administrators, and claim reinsurers representing the Western portion of the United States. PCEA focuses on providing education and networking opportunities for its members.
Our Principals
PCEA is committed to fostering principles of fairness and consistency in the insurance industry. It believes that claim philosophy, policy interpretation, and public relations should be uniform and equitable, ensuring that insurance consumers are treated respectfully by all insurance companies.
PCEA places a strong emphasis on professionalism, emphasizing the importance of continuous education and training for individuals involved in claims work. It actively encourages and supports initiatives aimed at improving education in this field.
PCEA promotes cooperation among all companies, whether they are PCEA members or not. The association recognizes the value of maintaining positive relationships between companies, benefiting all stakeholders affected by the insurance industry.
PCEA's primary goal is to enhance the handling of insurance claims for the benefit of the general public. To achieve this, it facilitates the exchange of ideas and best practices among its members.
PCEA upholds the highest ethical standards and seeks to maximize the quality of service provided to insurance consumers by the industry.
PCEA advocates for an open channel of communication between senior claim executives, supporting the concept of a "hot line" for discussions and sharing insights.
PCEA strives to maintain goodwill, fellowship, and positive relationships among representatives from member companies. It prioritizes flexible and efficient communication among members to better serve the public, who ultimately rely on their services.
